When you’re busy keeping healthy as a student can be a hassle. Eating well and working out seem secondary to any other activity that isn’t finishing assignments or studying for that final calculus test.
Sometimes doing less can do more for you during stressful times. Even taking 2 hours during that week to go for a walk or stop by the gym can make a big difference!
Physical activity can help release stress and even improve your memory!
For those hard to write essays, it can help you think of better wording or new ideas!
Another issues student struggle with is keeping social. We tend to think that tackling finals on our own will be more efficient. COVID has also not helped in creating good studying environments.
Social fitness activities can help with this! Yoga can provide relaxation and a good stretch after hours of sitting down while Zumba can help release that anxious energy before an exam.
PSB Fitness offers those event options at a reasonable time before exams!
Our community programs make sure to take into account our student’s difficult schedules and stress, which is also why the classes tend to run every 40 minutes before and during finals.
