PSB Fitness is a new exciting gym in Mississauga with the incredible addition of an App! Starting your fitness journey solo is hardly a sign of strength, so having people in your corner will be quite the occurrence here. Our instructors and trainers will create the perfect plan for you, whether in person or virtual, to push you to become the strongest and healthiest version of yourself. Are you ready?

Get your fuel up with our very own program called MindExercise! It is the perfect fusion of innovation, technology, and creativity. This brings your body, mind, and soul together and offers an experience of a lifetime. This program will use VR effects through a projector to transport you to a dystopian universe where you will be given the option of choosing your role, location, music, and tools to complete a series of missions. You use your body as a controller and move it through space to make all the correct movements to give you the highest score!

PSB Fitness In Mississauga with App

Certainly, with the ease of a digital world, we have incorporated the addition of a PSB Fitness App that will allow members to get the most out of their membership. We know you’re excited about this new affordable gym in Mississauga with an App. For instance, the app will give you access to a schedule of all the classes and programs on a month-to-month basis and allow you to make bookings and catch up on your favorite workouts. Moreover, it will also entail special workouts geared towards your body and goals that can be done from the comfort of your home. Similarly, you can stream, download, and cast all your favorite workouts as well as use our very own feature of video-call conferences where you and your buddy can work out together. Most importantly, we want to give you all the options to work out anywhere and anytime!

Membership Fees

Our Students and faculty members will have a budget-friendly fee, with the sole requirement of a One Card upon registration. Our membership fees are charged on a monthly basis and our payment options are as follows:

  • Student/Faculty Staff Pricing starts at $19.99 (All-Amenities Included)
  • $7.99 for a day pass (All-Amenities Included)
  • Non-Student Pricing starts at $23.99 (All-Amenities Included)
  • Individual training with a personal trainer will consist of an additional fee of $9.99 per session

Weight training can be daunting if you’re new to it, but PSB Fitness is here to help you become the healthiest version of yourself. Located right in the Sheridan College campus in Mississauga, PSB Fitness has an affordable STUDENT gym membership price for those who are just starting their fitness journey. Here are some tips for beginner weightlifters.

1. Prep prep prep

Prep is very important whether you’re a beginner or a pro at weight training. Make sure to prep your muscles before working out to wake them up and help you perform better. You can prep by stretching or doing warm-up exercises.

2. Form is everything

Proper form is crucial to ensure you’re engaging the right muscles and you’re not injuring yourself. At PSB Fitness, we have seasoned personal trainers to help you nail your form and make the most out of your workout. They watch you in real-time and give pointers or tips to make sure you have the proper form and maximize your gains.

3. Start light

To further help you nail your form, you need to start with light weights or even just your body weight. Your body needs to get used to doing certain movements and starting with light weights will set you up for success.

4. Don’t go overboard

As much as we want to see you at PSB Fitness every day, it’s best to start gradually. Start by going a few days a week, doing full-body workouts. Do a little bit of every muscle group to keep a balanced workout, then slowly add in days when you want to focus on a specific muscle group. As you progress, you can start dedicating each workout to one muscle group to build strength in that area and to give your other muscles some time to rest.

5. Take a rest day when you need to

You’ll likely be sore after your first few workouts. Listen to your body and take a day off when you’re feeling sore so you can still work out later that week. Give your body and muscles some time to recover so you can come back to the gym stronger. If you’re feeling too sore after a workout, that’s a sign you might be doing too much, and you can go easier at the gym.

About PSB Fitness – The Gym at Sheridan College in Mississauga with Affordable Student Memberships

The gym has designated areas for weightlifting and is sectioned off by muscle group. We also have designated areas for prep where you can foam roll and stretch. Everyone has their choice of cardio, and we have several cardio machine options as well as an indoor track. We have plenty of space for everyone at this gym, so you don’t feel crowded.

PSB Fitness also offers virtual workout classes so you can work out in the comfort of your own home. We have many group fitness classes to join or get some customized help from our personal trainers.

With two membership tiers, there’s no reason you can’t hit the gym. Our classic membership will give you access to our basic amenities and select virtual and group fitness classes. Our premium membership gives you additional access to personal training and our spa amenities. Students get 20% off the membership price for both membership tiers. For a limited time, we are doing a free trial day pass for all students and we’re offering those who sign up 2 guest passes to bring a workout buddy!
